Distance learning

Dear Parents and Students,

On behalf of myself, our teacher Billy Smith, and our director Ashley Claiborne, I want to let you know that the staff and board of the Christian Learning Center are praying for your families during this time. We understand that uncertainty, fear, and sadness comes along with the crisis our world is facing. We pray that your needs are being taken care of and that you are seeking the hope we find in Jesus Christ alone. If there is any way that the CLC may be able to help you or pray for you specifically, please let us know. We would like to be a source of encouragement and support to our community and our students as we are able to be.

This week, Campbell County Schools distributed school work packets and are offering online resources for optional distance learning opportunities. We would like to do the same. On our website, we will be posting links to resources which students may use to begin a self-guided study of the book of Romans. We will add new content throughout the time off from school, so you may need to check back later to find new study materials. If you would like a physical copy of the handouts but do not have access to a printer, please email me, and I would be happy to send copies in the mail to you. Students, if you have questions about the study of Romans, feel free to email myself or Billy at any time.

We miss you and hope to see you again soon! Remember these words of Jesus: "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
