Executive Director
Ashley Claiborne
Ashley grew up in Campbell County and her educational background includes Campbell County High School, East Tennessee State University (B.S. Political Science-major & Psychology-minor), Lincoln Memorial UniversityDuncan School of Law (J.D.) Ashley married her husband Mark, a fellow Campbell Countian, in 2015. In the spring of 2018, Ashley was welcomed as a new member the CLC board. After deciding to close her law practice in the fall of 2019, Ashley was hired by the CLC and began serving in her official capacity as Executive Director on January 1, 2020. She is thrilled with her new position and looks forward to being a part of the future of the CLC with much prayer and the support of our board and community.

Teacher
Billy Smith
Billy is a pastor at Hope & Stand Church in Jacksboro. He is married to his lovely wife Shawn and is the father of six children. Billy began teaching the Firm Foundations course at the CLC during the Spring 2019 semester and has enjoyed the opportunity to teach God's Word to high school students on a daily basis. Billy says, “Serving the CLC and the students is a great privilege for me. It is my life’s mission to learn more about and communicate better God’s Word to all people. Everyday, I am able to add value into the these incredible students, and I am blessed to have them in my life. Thank you for allowing me the joy to be a part of this exciting, life-changing opportunity.”

Stephanie Lloyd
Stephanie first joined the Christian Learning Center in August 2019 as the teaching assistant for our classes and now serves as our teacher and program director. She grew up in Oneida, TN, has a Bachelor's degree in English Education (grades 5-12) from Asbury University, and holds a Tennessee teaching certificate. Stephanie loves working with teenagers to teach and encourage them each day. She says, “The CLC has offered me the perfect blend of utilizing my teacher training as well as my passion for teen discipleship. Getting to invest biblical teaching into these students on a daily basis is such a rare opportunity and such a joy.”
