Meet Our Staff
Stephanie Lloyd Hester
Teacher & Program Director

Stephanie grew up in Oneida, TN, earned a Bachelor's degree in English Education (grades 6-12) from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY, and holds a Tennessee teaching license. In 2019, Stephanie moved to Campbell County to work at Galilee Bible Camp, where she had served for many years as a summer staff and program director. Through her work at the camp and her studies in the education field, Stephanie developed a passion for both teaching and Christian discipleship. The combination of these two passions has drawn her to seek out creative opportunities for vocational ministry. Stephanie taught CLC’s Introductory Old Testament and New Testament classes from 2019 to 2022. At the Christian Learning Center, she now serves as the administrative/development coordinator, leading our program growth, curriculum oversight, and community outreach. Stephanie is married to Justin Hester. She also works part-time as the outreach coordinator at Jellico Methodist Church.

Joy Longmire
Ministry Assistant

Joy has been a resident of Campbell County since 1985, and she is so excited to be part of CLC. We are equally excited to have her on our team as our ministry assistant! She began in this role at the beginning of the fall semester in 2023. Joy is blessed with two children, three grandkids, and a 100-pound Mastador named Weezie. Between them and her church family at East LaFollette Baptist Church, there is much love and support that fulfills Joy’s life. She enjoys reading and studying God's Word, listening to gospel and contemporary Christian music, going 4-wheeling, attending sporting events, and hanging out with her grandkids. Joy says, “Life is good for sure,” and we appreciate all the JOY she brings to CLC’s ministry and students. As our ministry assistant, Joy plays an active role in the work of CLC to support students in the classroom and assist with events and office duties.
